Firstly, I would like to
introduce Higham Cricket Club to yourselves, we are an amateur village club boasting 3 adult and 3 junior sides. Our 1st
and 2nd teams play in the Huddersfield Central Cricket League while our Sunday side plays in the Barnsley and District
Cricket League. We are lucky enough to have a good junior section, playing in the Barnsley and District Junior Cricket Association,
with two sides at under 13 and one at under 11 age groups. The club has been running for above 100 years and have been playing
at our current ground, adjacent to the Engineers Arms, since 1924. The cricket field is within a former miners welfare ground
and although it is now held in trust by Barnsley Council the cricket club have a lenghty lease on the ground and perform all
the work necessary to keep the cricket ground and surrounding area in excellent condition.Cricket is not a cheap game to play for individual players, especially for families with children taking up the sport,
or for the clubs they play for and we are always looking to forge close links with companies and businesses with a number
of sponsorship opportunities which are detailed below. If you would like to discuss any of the sponsorship packages please
contact myself and we would be very happy to answer any questions you may have.
As previously stated Higham Cricket Club play in the Huddersfield Central and the two Barnsley & District leagues and over the course of a season the cricket ground will host around 50 fixtures plus friendlies and fun days. We will host clubs from Barnsley, Huddersfield, Dewsbury, Mexborough, Rotherham and Doncaster and so sponsorship would reach a wide local group. Also our club website is quite popular and is averageing around 400 ‘hits’ per month.We would be grateful if you would consider a sponsorship partnership between your company and the cricket club and welcome any questions you may have. Match Ball Sponsorship
The cost of match ball sponsorship is £20 per ball and for this the name and contact details of your business will be displayed within the pavilion and changing rooms at all the clubs 2011 home fixtures, with preferential advertising on your sponsored match days, and also in the club fixture lists and league handbooks and also on the club website at www/highamcc.co.uk. We would be happy to include your corporate posters and any corporate literature, leaflets, etc. Match Day Brochure Sponsorship A match day sponsorship brochure is produced for every game played at Higham and a copy is given free of charge to the opposition players, match officials and spectators. The brochure will contain an advertisement of your design on either a quarter, half or full page layout. The charges are £100 for a full page advert, £60 for a half page and £35 for a quarter page. In addition the business details will be displayed within the pavilion and changing rooms and also in the club fixture lists and league handbooks and also on the club website at www/highamcc.co.uk and, as with match ball sponsorship any corporate material would be welcome.
